Kuridango

This is a local specialty of Naruko, in Miyagi and a must-eat if you have time, especially over hot tea.  A very authentic local delight.  Dango is a Japanese dessert made from rice flour and baked with shoyu.  Most dango are available year-round, but this one is seasonal.  Autumn would be the best season for rare dango.
